Gaelyne Gabora (b Craig). Soprano, teacher, b Regina 1931, d White Rock, BC, 1 Feb 2001. She studied at Notre Dame Academy in Charlottetown, at the GSM, England, 1953-6, and graduated with honours from the Vienna Academy 1956-9.

Garry Neill Kennedy, CM, artist, teacher (born 6 November 1935 in St. Catharines, ON; died 8 August 2021 in Vancouver, BC). Garry Neill Kennedy was an award-winning conceptual artist. His work earned a Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts and was presented at the National Gallery of Canada. Kennedy was also president (1967–90) of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) in Halifax. He is credited with transforming the conservative and traditional art school into an energetic and internationally renowned avant-garde institution. Kennedy was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 2003.

George Alfred Grant-Schaefer. Composer, organist, teacher, b Williamstown, near Cornwall, Ont, 4 Jul 1872, d Chicago 11 May 1939. He studied with Dominique Ducharme (piano) and Guillaume Couture (voice) in Montreal and with Victor Garwood (piano) and Adolf Weidig (theory) in Chicago. C.A.E.

George Anderson Wells, bishop, scholar, lecturer (b at Clarke's Beach, Nfld 18 Nov 1877; d at Toronto 10 Apr 1964). Wells was a fisherman, sealer, labourer, and a trooper in the SOUTH AFRICAN WAR before continuing his education at various American institutions.

George B. (Buckley) Sippi. Organist, choirmaster, teacher, b Bombay 10 Mar 1847, d London, Ont, 18 Sep 1915. His family returned in 1854 to Ireland from India, where his Italian grandfather had settled. He attended Queen's College in Cork and studied piano and organ with his uncle, John A.

George Bain, journalist, author, educator (b at Toronto 29 Jan 1920). Bain was educated in Toronto and served as a pilot in Bomber Command during WWII. In the mid-1950s, he began the Ottawa column in the Toronto Globe and Mail.

George Cornell Ebers, neurologist, researcher (born 24 July 1946 in Budapest, Hungary). Ebers has published extensively with more than 300 publications in peer-reviewed journals, three books, 25 book chapters, and multiple editorials to his name. He has contributed significant medical research into multiple sclerosis (MS). A former professor at Western University and the University of Oxford, Ebers was awarded the John Dystel Prize for Multiple Sclerosis Research.

George Edwin Britnell, political economist, professor (b at London, Eng 9 June 1903; d at Saskatoon 14 Oct 1961).

George F. Graham. Organist, teacher, writer, fl 1854-66. He was organist at the American Presbyterian (later Erskine and American United) Church in Montreal and wrote The Vocal Tutor (Montreal 1854), a textbook of musical rudiments.
