    Pierre Karl Péladeau

    ​Pierre Karl Péladeau (nicknamed PKP), Canadian entrepreneur and businessman who was instrumental in bringing about the rapid growth of Quebecor (born 16 October 1961 in Montréal, QC). He was the president and chief executive officer of Quebecor for 14 years, from 1999 to 2013. In the Québec provincial election held on 7 April 2014, Péladeau ran as a candidate for the Parti Québécois and won his riding. On 15 May 2015, he became the eighth leader in the history of this political party.

    Pierre Lapointe, singer-songwriter (born on 23 May 1981 in Alma, Quebec). Pierre Lapointe gives a unique twist to French pop songs. His eccentricity got him noticed in France and in Quebec in equal measure. He has produced over ten albums, two of which earned gold record certification and two others platinum records certification in Canada. He was nominated four times for the Juno Award for Francophone Album of the Year and won 15 Félix Awards.

    Pierre Laporte

    Pierre Laporte, journalist, lawyer, politician (born 25 February 1921 in Montreal, Quebec; died 17 October 1970). In October of 1970, Laporte was abducted and subsequently murdered by the Chénier cell of the Front de Libération du Québec (FLQ). This series of events intensified the October Crisis in Quebec. Laporte is one of very few politicians to be assassinated in Canada (see Thomas D’Arcy McGee).
