Sheriff Andrews House Historic Site

Located in the historic Loyalist town of St Andrew's, NB, Elisha Andrews built this house in 1820. Andrews was the son of a prominent Loyalist, the Reverend Samuel Andrews, and served himself as Sheriff of Charlotte County.

The importance of Sheriff Andrews House lies both in its association with the Andrews family and as an excellent example of neo-Classical house architecture. The house, a provincial historic site (1993), has been carefully restored and furnished to give visitors a sense of life in a well-to-do household in the early 19th century. The Sheriff Andrews House is open to the public from the end of June to early October.
