Monte Stout (Primary Source)

Monte Stout joined the RCAF in March 1942 but was then transferred to the Royal Air Force. He initially served as a navigator with RAF Coastal Command, and flew missions along the eastern seaboard. He was then transferred to RAF Transport Command, 45 Group, also known as Ferry Command. Norman Heide (Korean War) (Primary Source)

Norman Heide served on HMCS Sioux during the Korean War. The Sioux provided naval support for the amphibious landings during the Battle of Inchon which turned the tide of the war. Oscar Boesch joined the German Air Force, the Luftwaffe, in August 1943 and volunteered for Sturmstaffel 1, a new fighter unit formed to lead the effort against enemy bombers. Ralph Rosser (Primary Source)

Ralph Rosser joined the Sea Cadets in 1940 and then transferred into the Royal Canadian Navy in 1942. He served as an electrician on board the Bangor class minesweeper HMCS Minas. Minas escorted convoys into Portsmouth and cleared mines in the English Channel.
