Fredrik Stefan Eaton

 Fredrik Stefan Eaton, merchant (b at Toronto 26 June 1938), great-grandson of Timothy EATON and grandson of John Craig EATON; president of the T. EATON CO LTD. At the conclusion of his university education in 1962, Eaton, following family tradition, gained on-the-job experience within the organization in numerous capacities in both Canada and England. From 1977 to 1991 he presided over the continued expansion and consolidation of his great-grandfather's business and assisted in the development of Toronto's EATON CENTRE. He was named High Commissioner to England in 1992, a post he held until 1994. Eaton was named Chancellor of U of New Brunswick in 1993 and was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1990.
