Nick Weslock

Nick Weslock was one of the true students of golf, having absorbed lessons from many of the world's great amateurs and professionals in a career that gave him four Canadian amateur championships, seven Ontario open championships and eight Ontario amateur championships. Weslock was also Canadian senior champion six times and Ontario senior champion eleven times. He left Winnipeg at age five and after living in Windsor and Hamilton, Ontario, moved to Detroit, Michigan, in 1947. He became a naturalized US citizen in 1956 and returned to Canada as a landed immigrant in 1959. Weslock represented Ontario in provincial matches 25 times. He also represented Canada as a member of the Eisenhower world cup team five times and as Commonwealth team member five times.
