Karen Bergman

Karen Bergman (BSc, MBA) lived in the Eastern Arctic (in what is now Nunavut) for 10 years. She knew a very young Jordin Tootoo and his family when she lived in Rankin Inlet in the 1980s. Karen’s northern writing has appeared in Nunatsiaq News, Arctic Circle magazine (no longer in circulation), and Native Press. She has 3 children and 5 grandchildren and is retired in southeastern British Columbia near Fernie.
