Douglas Justice

Douglas Justice is an associate director at UBC Botanical Garden, an adjunct professor in the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at UBC, and the program manager and an instructor for the Garden’s Horticulture Training Program. He co-authored The Jade Garden: New and Notable Plants from Asia in 2005 and wrote a Field Guide to Ornamental Cherries in Vancouver in 2009. Douglas provided the text for the mobile app Vancouver Trees in 2015, co-authored The Lives of Leaves with Dan Crowley in 2021 and is now working to complete a volume describing Vancouver’s diverse woody garden flora.
