Helen McMenamin

A childhood fascination with farm animals and the problem of hunger around the world led Helen McMenamin to study agriculture in Scotland and Ontario. She has lived in all three Prairie provinces and learned that producing food is only one of the challenges facing us all. She’s worked at a variety of mostly agriculture-related jobs, but always comes back to writing — finding out things and telling others. She is an enthusiastic community volunteer and gardener in Lethbridge, Alberta.
