Juanita Rossiter

Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Juanita Rossiter received a Bachelor of Arts (honors, history) from Acadia University and a Master of Information Studies (archives stream) from the University of Toronto. An internship undertaken while at the University of Toronto brought her to the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she had the privilege of meeting Nelson Mandela himself. After spending 15 years working as an archivist at the Archives of Ontario in Toronto, Rossiter returned to her roots on Prince Edward Island where she continues to work as an archivist, and also as a freelance writer and small business owner.
