Philip J. Currie

Philip J. Currie is a professor at the University of Alberta. He has published more than 300 scientific articles, 175 popular articles and 20 books. Fieldwork connected with his research has been concentrated in Alberta, Argentina, China, Mongolia, the Arctic and Antarctica. Awards include The Explorers Club Medal and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society Gold Medal. In 2015, he was honoured by the opening of the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Alberta. He has supervised more than 30 MSc and PhD students, and given hundreds of popular and scientific lectures on dinosaurs all over the world.
