Simon M. Evans

Simon Evans is an adjunct professor in the department of geography at the University of Calgary. A major thrust of his research over the past 40 years has been the history of ranching in western Canada. Parks Canada appointed him “project historian” when they established the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site, and afterwards he wrote The Bar U and Canadian Ranching History.
