You know, this is kind of funny for me to say all of this stuff before, not that I’m not proud of it, I’m real proud of it.
I was a gunner on a merchant ship. You know, this is kind of funny for me to say all of this stuff before, not that I’m not proud of it, I’m real proud of it, but we didn’t wear our uniform really that you’re supposed to have because none of us… We were gunners on a merchant ship and I didn’t do nothing really, other than that we did things we were supposed to do or what we were ordered. We took ships there to go and load, and then come back out with it and get the heck out of there. We were in things, but nobody ever shot us or anything.
