Muzik Etc/Drums Etc. Montreal-based trade magazine focused on music technology and industry news, distributed free of charge throughout Canada with a circulation of about 19,000. Founded by Ralph Angelillo in 1989 as Le Musicien Québécois in French only, the title was changed to Le Musicien in 1996. Drums Etc was launched as its partner publication in 1997 and became the first bilingual magazine with distribution from coast to coast. Le Musicien became bilingual in 1997 and was subsequently renamed Muzik Etc. In 2001 the magazines amalgamated into the joint publication Muzik Etc/Drums Etc.

The magazine focuses on the popular music industry and caters to a readership of music professionals, teachers, and students. The Muzik Etc portion features reviews of guitars, electronic keyboards, microphones, software and other studio equipment; articles on musical techniques; and CD reviews and interviews with musicians. The Drums Etc component is intended specifically for percussionists and includes reviews of instruments, gear, profiles of drum makers, and interviews with percussionists.

Muzik Etc/Drums Etc is published six times per year, with each issue covering a particular theme. The summer issue is the "Annual Musician's Guide," a comprehensive index of manufacturers, publishers, retailers, and music schools throughout the country.

The magazine is funded entirely through advertising revenue. The editors-in-chief have been Sofi Gamache (Muzik Etc) and Ralph Angelillo (Drums Etc).
