Marycarmen Lara-Villanueva

Marycarmen Lara-Villanueva is a Mexican-born research scholar and PhD student at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. Anchored in anti-colonial and anti-racist theories, her research explores racism and anti-Black racism in visual representations with a focus in Mexico. She is also a coordinator at the Centre for integrative Anti-Racism Studies
