Arlene Chan

Author and Chinatown historian Arlene Chan has written seven books about the history, culture and traditions of the Chinese in Canada. Her work has been shortlisted for the Ontario Speaker’s Book Award, the Heritage Toronto Book Award, the Silver Birch Award, and the Red Cedar Award. When she is not researching, writing or leading tours of Toronto’s Chinatown, she can be found paddling around Lake Ontario in a dragon boat.
