Caroleen Molenaar has recently completed an MA in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. Her research interests include Canadian fashion history (including Indigenous and non-Indigenous clothing), fashion in museums, and decolonization, diversity and inclusion practices in museums. These three topics joined together for the completion of her Masters thesis which looked at how Canadian museum online collections have decolonized their catalogue entries of Indigenous clothing in Canada. When not researching Caroleen enjoys knitting, hiking and practicing flute and piano.
