Christian T.L. Janssen

Christian T.L. Janssen is Professor Emeritus of the University of Alberta, where he taught in the Business School for a quarter century and served as Associate Dean for four years. After retiring, he joined the faculty of the University of Victoria and also taught briefly at Royal Roads University. He holds a fil. kand. (BA) from the University of Gothenburg, a PhD from Cornell University, where he had a brief faculty appointment before moving to Canada, and an honorary doctorate from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden.

His teaching has met with acclaim. He won four teaching awards at the University of Victoria, four at Royal Roads, and five at the University of Alberta.

His papers have appeared in academic and professional journals in the UK, the US and Canada, some twenty-five dealing with topics in real estate and real estate finance and valuation.

For the past decade, he has been the statistician for a group of physicians doing research in cardiology and publishing in international medical journals.
