Conny Davidsen

Dr. Conny Davidsen teaches environmental policy and governance in the Geography Department at the University of Calgary, Alberta. Her research centers on the political process behind changing environmental policies, and addresses energy, climate, forests and conservation. The Canadian oil sands are one of her particular interests and appeared in her 2010 book Oil Literacy (published by Pearson Canada). She has also worked in other environmental policy issues from rainforest oil and conservation in Latin America to sustainable common-pool resource management and carbon trade efforts worldwide.
