A postdoctoral researcher at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and writer/historian for the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Dale Gilbert studies the history of mobility, both urban and social. His publications include Vivre en quartier populaire. Saint-Sauveur, 1930-1980 (Septentrion 2015), for which he received an award from the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
