Darin Wybenga
Prior to working with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Darin Wybenga was an educator in elementary schools in Southern Ontario. Specializing as a teacher of history and geography, he also served as a vice-principal and curriculum coordinator. In recent years, Wybenga has worked for the MCFN as the Traditional Knowledge and Land Use Coordinator for the First Nation’s Department of Consultation and Accommodation. His work in the department primarily consists of educating project proponents about the history of the treaty lands, territory, and people of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
