Don H. Meredith

Don Meredith is a writer and biologist, who lives west of Edmonton, Alberta. He has worked as a consulting wildlife biologist on various projects in the High Arctic, northern Alberta and the Rocky Mountains. His experiences in the North prompted his interest in sled dogs, leading to his forming a recreational team of Mackenzie River huskies.

Don has published many articles on wildlife and the outdoors for a variety of publications. He has written two award-winning, young-adult novels, Dog Runner (1989, 2004), and The Search for Grizzly One (2005), available through his website (www.donmeredith.ca).
