Jacques Beaulieu

Jacques Beaulieu studied biology at the Université du Québec’s campuses in Montréal and Trois-Rivières. He received a certificate in electron microscopy from the University of Toronto’s School of Hygiene in its Faculty of Medicine. For four years, he wrote a medical column for Actualité médicale covering doctors who have left their mark on Québec, the discovery of medications throughout history, and the history of various diseases. He is the author of some 40 books and over 100 articles. Among his most recent publications are Ces médecins qui ont marqué le Québec (Montréal: Éditions MultiMondes, 2014) and Ces médicaments qui ont changé nos vies (Montéal: Éditions MultiMondes, 2014).
