Jade Spruyt

Jade Spruyt is a wildlife biologist originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a major in ecology from the University of Calgary. Currently she is a master’s student at Thompson Rivers University. Her research examines the effects of road mortality and mitigation measures on the Western rattlesnake population in the White Lake Basin of British Columbia. Spruyt previously researched rough-skinned newts on Vancouver Island and black-tailed Prairie dogs in Saskatchewan.
