Dr. Jason S. Anderson is a vertebrate paleontologist and Professor of Veterinary Anatomy at the University of Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Science in geological science from The University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in biology from McGill University. Dr. Anderson’s research interest is in the origin of higher vertebrate taxonomic groups, with a special focus on the emergence of the first tetrapods and the evolution of frogs, salamanders, and caecilians.
