Jim Meek

Jim Meek is a writer and consultant whose work has appeared in The Canadian Encyclopedia, The Chronicle Herald, Canadian Business, The Globe and Mail, Nieman Reports, and Canadian Geographic. Based in Halifax, Meek is the author of Cultivating Success, the Life of Acadian Seaplants Founder Louis Deveau, and co-author of Offshore Dream, a History of Nova Scotia’s Oil and Gas Industry. He was awarded a Nieman fellowship by Harvard University and was a recipient of the Hyman Solomon Award, which recognizes excellence in Canadian public policy journalism.
