Karen Dubinsky is a historian at Queen’s University in Kingston. She has written on Canadian women’s history, the history of tourism, Cuban musical cultures, and, most recently, Canadian-Cuban relations. She lives in the same neighbourhood as Angelina Napolitano’s cemetery and regularly communes with her spirit.
