Kym Bird

Kym Bird is associate professor of drama in the Humanities Department, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University. Her field of research is early Canadian women dramatists about which she has written several articles. Her book, Redressing the Past: The Politics of Early, English-Canadian Women's Drama, 1880-1920 (McGill-Queen's 2004), won the 2004 Association of Canadian Theatre Research Ann Saddlemyer Award.
