Linda Granfield

Historian Linda Granfield is the award-winning author of over 30 titles for adults and young readers. She is best known for her books about war and remembrance, including In Flanders Fields: The Story of the Poem by John McCrae, and Remembering John McCrae: Soldier-Doctor-Poet. She was a member of the “In Flanders Fields at 100” task force that successfully nominated John McCrae for membership in the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame and she has shared McCrae’s life story with over one million students across Canada. Linda has been a consultant for documentary films (e.g., McCrae; Nanking 1937) and is a historical adviser for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
