Matthew Hayes is an educator, researcher and filmmaker. He is an instructor at Northern Lakes College, where he teaches English, philosophy and history. His PhD research explored the history of Canada's UFO investigation. His research interests also include
the study of conspiracy theory, pseudoscience and Cold War science, and “cranks”: in short, the nature of unorthodox beliefs.
