Mike Gasher

Mike Gasher is a professor in the Department of Journalism and director of the Concordia Centre for Broadcasting Studies at Concordia University in Montréal. A former newspaper reporter, copy editor and section editor, he is co-author of the widely-used textbook Mass Communication in Canada (Oxford University Press, 2012). His research interests include journalism, geographies of news consumption, audience address, communications policy and the political economy of media.
