Mireille Barrière

Mireille Barrière is an independent researcher whose PhD thesis focused on opera in Montréal between 1840 and 1914. She won the 2002 Opus Award for her essay on the Opéra français de Montréal (1893–96). Her current research explores cultural exchange between Montréal and New Orleans.
