Peter Menzies

Peter Menzies, PhD, RSW, is member of Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation and is in private practice providing mental wellness assessments, intervention/treatment and training. Peter has delivered more than 90 invited presentations, and was the keynote speaker at his College 2017 Annual Meeting. He is the recipient of the Center for Equity and Health in Society, Entrepreneurial Development and Integration of Services Award (2005), the Kaiser Foundation, Excellence in Indigenous Programming Award (2011) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers Lifetime Achievement Award (2018).

Peter has published numerous articles related to Aboriginal Mental Wellness, along with a book, Journey to Healing Aboriginal People with Addiction and Mental Health Issues.
