Sara Karn has a Master of Arts degree in History from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education degree from Nipissing University. Her graduate research explored popular songs composed on the home front in Canada during the First World War (see https://sarakarn.wixsite.com/songsofwar). She is currently working as a secondary school teacher in Ontario and leads student battlefield study tours to the Western Front for the Vimy Foundation.
