Serge Cipko

Dr. Serge Cipko is Assistant Director, Research, at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, University of Alberta. He is the author of the books Starving Ukraine: The Holodomor and Canada's Response (Regina: University of Regina Press, 2017), Ukrainians in Argentina, 1897-1950: The Making of a Community (Edmonton: CIUS Press, 2011), St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, Edmonton: A History (1902-2002) (Edmonton: St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 2009), and co-author, with Glenna Roberts, of One Way Ticket: The Soviet Return-to-the-Homeland Campaign, 1955-1960 (Manotick, ON: Penumbra Press, 2008).
