Subrata Kumar Das

Subrata Kumar Das, a writer, curator, TV anchor and organizer has 29 books to his credit. Born in Bangladesh in 1964, and immigrated to Canada in 2013, Subrata’s 2019 Bengali book on Canadian literature has been hugely acclaimed by the Bengali literature-lovers living in Canada and Bangladesh.

A member of the Writers’ Union of Canada and the Literary Translators’ Association of Canada, Subrata is the initiator of Bangladeshi Novels, the first website on Bengali literature in 2003. He has joined and led teams of Bengali writers in International Festival of Authors (TIFA) in 2020, 2022 & 2023.
