Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford
Meagan Duhamel, figure skater (born 8 December 1985 in Sudbury, ON) and Eric Radford, figure skater (born 27 January 1985 in Winnipeg, MB). Figure skaters Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford have been competing together in pairs competitions since 2010. Known for their technical excellence, they have won two world championships (2015, 2016) and three Olympic medals: bronze in the pairs competition (2018) and a gold (2018) and silver medal (2014) in the team event. They have also won gold medals at nine other international competitions. They were Canadian champions from 2012 to 2018, the longest consecutive streak for Canadian pairs.

Meaghan Benfeito
Meaghan Benfeito, diver (born 2 March 1989 in Montréal, QC). Three-time Olympian Meaghan Benfeito and partner Roseline Filion won bronze in the 10m synchronized dive at the Olympic Summer Games in 2012 and 2016. Benfeito also won bronze in the 10m individual event at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. Benfeito has won titles at the Pan American Games and Commonwealth Games and multiple medals in both synchro and individual competitions at the FINA Diving Grand Prix circuit, FINA Diving World Series, World Cup and World Championships. She has also won multiple Senior National Championships.

Megan Follows
Megan Elizabeth Laura Diana Follows, actor, director (born 14 March 1968 in Toronto). Megan Follows is best known for starring as Anne Shirley in the hugely popular CBC mini-series Anne of Green Gables (1985) — the highest-rated television drama in Canadian history. Follows won two Gemini Awards for her iconic portrayal of the famous PEI orphan. She has since amassed more than 100 credits in film and television, including a co-starring role in the popular CW series Reign (2013–17), for which she received three Canadian Screen Award nominations. She has also won both a Directors Guild of Canada Award and a Canadian Screen Award for her work as a director.

Mel Hoppenheim
Mel Hoppenheim, CM, entrepreneur, philanthropist (born October 1937 in Montreal, QC; died 27 July 2022 in Montreal). Mel Hoppenheim developed Panavision Canada into the largest provider of film and television services in Canada. He also owned and operated one of the largest privately held film studios in North America. Hoppenheim was instrumental in the development of Canada’s film and television industry, and of Montreal as a major site for international productions. A noted philanthropist, he earned the nickname “Mr. Hollywood North.” He received an honorary Genie Award in 2010 and was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 2015.

Melanie Mark
Melanie Joy Mark (also known as Hli Haykwhl Ẃii Xsgaak), politician, leader (born 17 October 1975 in Vancouver, BC). Melanie Mark is the first First Nations woman elected as a Member of British Columbia’s Legislative Assembly and the first First Nations woman to serve as a cabinet minister. Mark, the granddaughter of residential school survivors, is of Nisga'a, Gitxsan, Cree, Ojibwe, French and Scottish ancestry. Her Nisga’a name is Hli Haykwhl Ẃii Xsgaak, which means “the eagle that passes on to the next generation.” As a candidate of the left-leaning New Democratic Party (NDP), Mark was elected in 2016 as the MLA for the Vancouver-Mount Pleasant riding. She subsequently won provincial elections in 2017 and 2020. Mark has been outspoken about the challenges of growing up in poverty, being raised by a single mother and about her time in the foster care system. In 2017, Mark was appointed to cabinet as the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, and later became the Minister of Tourism, Art, Culture and Sport in 2020. She resigned as an MLA in February 2023.
