Tony Elliot served with the Royal Marines during the Second World War. He immigrated to Canada after the war, and joined the Canadian Army when the Korean War broke out in the summer of 1950. He was sent to Korea as a tank driver with “C Squadron” of the Lord Strathcona’s Horse.
