Mont Tremblant, Quebec, 968 m, is located 140 km north of Montreal. It is one of the highest peaks in the Laurentian Highlands.

History
The Algonquin called it Manitou Ewitchi Saga, meaning "mountains of the dreaded Manitou." They believed Manitou would make the mountain tremble when humans dared to disturb nature.
In 1895 the Quebec government established the Parc de la Montagne Tremblante, today called parc de récréation du Mont-Tremblant .
