Ysh Cabana

Ysh Cabana is a cultural worker whose roots hail from the Philippines. He settled in Tkaronto (Toronto) in 2010 and became a Canadian citizen ten years later. He is a visual artist, independent journalist, community historian and researcher. His interest lies in early Filipinos in Canada. He has written on food, labour and immigration. He also co-leads Toronto's Little Manila walking tours as a guide.
