Brandi Newton

Brandi Newton is working toward her PhD at the Water and Climate Impacts Research Centre at the University of Victoria. Her specialization is hydro-climatology and extreme hydrological events in western Canada, which means she gets to work on really cool projects like river ice break-up. Other projects she has worked on include the Arctic Freshwater Synthesis and the Climatic Redistribution of Western Canadian Water Resources. When she has free time, Brandi enjoys hiking, camping, cycling, and travelling around the world.
