Brian Lentle

Dr. Brian Lentle is a graduate of the Welsh National School of Medicine. He studied Radiology in Wales and Canada (Alberta), and Nuclear Medicine at McGill University. He was appointed to the University of Alberta and then the University of British Columbia, where he was head of the Division of Nuclear Medicine and later, the Department of Radiology. He has served as President of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Granted an honorary Doctor of Science from the University of Wales, he has collaborated in the publication of over 200 articles in his specialties and in the history of Canadian radiology. He has been awarded gold medals by the CAR and RSNA.
