Durrell Bowman

Durrell Bowman is a cultural interpreter of music. Following degrees from the Universities of Waterloo and Toronto, he earned his PhD in musicology from UCLA. He contributed numerous entries to the Encyclopedia of Music in Canada and has written various reference entries, book chapters, journal articles, conference papers, lectures, book and media reviews, and program notes. His books include Experiencing Rush: A Listener's Companion (2014) and the planned e-book Be Sharp: ‘The Simpsons’ and Music.
