Jenny Peng

Jenny C.H. Peng is a Canadian writer of Taiwanese descent. She began her career as a journalist at the largest community newspaper in Vancouver while freelancing for international outlets like Taipei Times and Deutsche Welle. She later joined Metro News and was one of the first reporters at Star Vancouver, the Vancouver bureau of the Toronto Star, known for its exceptionally diverse and enterprise coverage of Metro Vancouver. She has worked in print, television and documentary filmmaking. Raised as a global citizen in BC and Quebec, her work is dedicated to advancing change through storytelling grounded in discovering hidden voices of our times.
