Marine Caleb | The Canadian Encyclopedia

Marine Caleb

Marine is an independent journalist. Her main subjects are migrations, minorities, women and intimate-partner violence, but environmental issues are never far from the concerns of her articles.

Living part of the time in Montreal and part of the time in Lebanon, Martine has worked in Canada, France, Germany and Lebanon. She holds a bachelor’s degree in culture and communication and a master’s degree in international studies.

Combining sensitivity, rigour and depth, Marine places the human at the centre of her work. She delights in demolishing clichés and bridging divides. Her goal: to report injustice and discrimination and thus help defeat them.
