Tim Mt. Pleasant

Tim Mt. Pleasant, a member of the Tuscarora Nation at Six Nations of the Grand River (Ohsweken, Ontario), graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) in 2021 at age 43. He has worked in various healthcare environments across Ontario, volunteered widely, worked for the Government of Ontario, and is a former Indian Day School student. He served on the Research Ethics Boards of Toronto Metropolitan University and McGill University and is now a Public Health Ontario’s Ethics Review Board member.
