Ian Hammond

Ian Hammond, a McGill University medical graduate, is a retired professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. He practiced radiology for 44 years at The Ottawa Hospital and regional community hospitals. A past president of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) and of the Canadian Radiological Foundation, he was awarded the CAR Gold Medal in 2006. As a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, he has a keen interest in Canadian geography and history.
