Guy Latraverse, COQ, OC, producer, impresario (born 5 July 1939 in Chicoutimi, QC; died 14 October 2023 in Montreal, QC). Known as the “father of Quebec show business,” Guy Latraverse was one of the pioneers of Quebec’s recording and entertainment industries. He managed and/or produced works by such artists as Pauline Julien, Claude Léveillée, Robert Charlebois, Louise Forestier and Yvon Deschamps, among many others. He was also involved in the founding of the Francofolies de Montréal and the annual awards honouring the best in Quebec music (Félix Awards, ADISQ), theatre (La soirée des Masques), film (Prix Jutra, now Prix Iris) and comedy (Les Olivier). He was made a Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec and the Order de la Pléiade, as well as an Officer of the Order of Canada and the Order of Montreal. He was inducted into the Canadians Songwriters Hall of Fame in the Special Achievement category in 2010.

Pierre Maurice Joseph Cossette, talent agent, producer, record label executive (born 15 December 1923 in Valleyfield, QC; died 11 September 2009 in Ormstown, QC). Pierre Cossette was an influential talent agent, manager, music mogul and producer for television and Broadway. He is best known for bringing the Grammy Awards to TV. He served as executive producer of the telecast from 1971 until his retirement in 2005. He also launched the Latin Grammy Awards broadcast and produced the Broadway hit The Will Rogers Follies. It won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Cossette has a star on both Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Jaime (Robbie) Robertson, OC, guitarist, songwriter, singer, actor, producer, executive (born 5 July 1943 in Toronto, ON; died 9 August 2023 in Los Angeles, California). Robbie Robertson saw success as one of the key songwriters and musicians in The Band. Later, his solo work involved collaborations with Bob Dylan, John Hammond and Daniel Lanois. He also worked in the film industry as a composer, actor and producer. Robertson was nominated for five Grammy Awards and won five Juno Awards, including two for Producer of the Year. An Officer of the Order of Canada, he was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Canadian Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. He received multiple lifetime achievement awards, including a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award.
